We came over from the UK for my sister's wedding, and the hotel was wonderfully accommodating. We had a great stay, and breakfast was lovely too.

The breakfast was very poor, with only sweet items and portions about the size of potato chips. I also regret that I didn't notice the place doesn't accept pets, so I understand the €15 dog charge was my mistake. But they put us in a smaller room while charging the luxury studio price, and I couldn't explain that booking.com had already charged me because nobody spoke any English. Communication was impossible throughout, and I found the staff's behavior extremely rude and uneducated. They tried to charge me for the room a second time. If you're not Italian, keep well away from this horse house.

The Wi-Fi was appalling, but the staff were extremely efficient and friendly, and the restaurant was good. The location is ideal if you're visiting Castel del Monte.
