The owner was friendly, but that didn’t make up for how disappointing the stay was. We left a few days early. The shower and bathroom were awful, and every time we used the shower, water poured into the downstairs neighbors’ kitchen. The problem never got fixed. Safety, cleanliness, the pool, and air conditioning were all letdowns too. We couldn’t use the BBQ because the grill was so dirty, so we bought a new one. The patio chairs were filthy, and the patio was too hot to use in the afternoon. At that daily price, these problems just aren’t acceptable. The reviews and photos had given us a very misleading impression.

The terrace umbrella didn’t provide enough shade, so the sun made the terrace unusable all afternoon and into the evening. The route down to the pool also felt unsafe and not guest-friendly. Inside, there was no air conditioning, the towels were old and barely absorbed water, and warm water was hit or miss. The shower had mold, and we had to find a way to keep its tap upright. There was also a foul smell from a drainpipe problem. The hostess was friendly, but the Booking photos are outdated and the place wasn’t nearly as tidy as they made it look.

The staff were welcoming, capable, and professionally trained. They paid close attention to what people needed.
