B&B Il Papavero Rosso

The homemade cakes at breakfast were delicious, and the owner was always welcoming and ready to help. The town also has several good restaurants and pubs, some with live music, so there's somewhere to go if you don't want to drive out for the evening. The B&B is well kept, with clean, attractive rooms and the amenities you need, including air conditioning, WiFi, a TV, and a hairdryer that's actually useful. Its location makes it easy to reach the main roads, with Otranto under 20 minutes away and Gallipoli a little over 40.

Francesca was so kind and attentive that we felt at home throughout our four-night stay. We were two adults and two children, and the simple breakfast suited us well, with homemade cakes from Mom, toast, yogurt, coffee for the adults, and milk for the kids. The rooms are basic but welcoming and spotlessly clean. The place is peaceful and just a short walk from Corigliano square. We'll be back soon. Thanks for everything!

We spent two weeks here and found it easy to explore Salento from Corigliano, with attractions on both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts within reach. The property is newly built, well cared for, and extremely clean, with ample parking in a quiet area close to the town center. Francesca was thoughtful and very kind, making sure our needs were met. Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade cakes, and even my boyfriend, who has celiac disease, felt well looked after. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting different parts of Salento.

A great breakfast and the cleanliness and order made our stay especially pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped with what you need, and the place works well for families or groups. It's also close to the town center.
