Camping Villaggio Thurium

The spot itself is beautiful, and the reception staff were helpful, but the stay didn't live up to our hopes. The person showing us to our pitch was rude and shouted at us. The pool cost extra, which was disappointing, and the campsite felt expensive for what it offered.

We had good, clean facilities and plenty of hot water, better than at many of the Italian campsites we stayed in. There's a shop and a restaurant that does takeout, along with good facilities all around. The one nuisance during our stay was the sticky pine needles falling constantly and getting everywhere.

We spent a week here in August 2020, the Covid19 year. The beach is fantastic and the place itself is nice. Cleanliness in the accommodations could use more attention and bring them up to a better standard. Otherwise, things are pretty much on par with Calabrian standards. I've holidayed in the same area for almost 10 years, so I know it well.

I paid 40 Euro and got no sleep. The animation show blasted music from 10pm until 1am, loud enough to hear everywhere, like a club. Why keep the kids up until 1am? The toilets and showers weren't clean, and the pool cost extra. The beach right in front is the only reason for the one star. Worst camping spot ever.
