Tenuta Ciminata Greco

It felt like being in a fairytale, with beautiful grounds and a good breakfast. We had a perfect holiday. If you're in the area, this is the place to stay.

We arrived at this magical estate on a rainy day in January. Olive and orange trees stretch across the grounds, and the historic reception hall and breakfast room are lovely, with a welcoming inner garden and little paved paths leading to the mansion rooms. Our room was superb, with a nice balcony and every facility and detail we could think of. It feels carefully planned and designed to be warm and inviting. In the morning, Francesca made us a delicious breakfast with lots of variety. Peter, the owner, was a gracious and helpful host. He spent time telling us about the place and giving us directions while it was snowing on our way. We'll definitely be back 😊

The sunset and sunrise views were stunning, and the beach is only minutes away. This was one of our favorite hotels on the trip. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, and the beds were sooo soft. We'll be back.

Our two days at Tenuta Ciminata Greco were better than we expected. This is an old family estate dating back to the 1700s, beautifully renovated to keep its original atmosphere while adding modern comfort. There's real care in the details throughout the room, halls and gardens. The setting between the mountains and sea is great, close to the historic town of Rossano, with breathtaking views. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Don't miss the freshly baked plum jam pie, and have breakfast on the balcony if you can. We also appreciated the owners and staff, who were generous and kind and gave us good tips for exploring the area.
