We stopped by spontaneously around 4:00 PM today at this modern winery and restaurant in a beautiful setting. The website listed opening hours as 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The wine tasting was disappointing: nobody explained the wines, and we didn’t feel welcome. We were given three glasses, then left without any further attention. We’d planned to have dinner at the Locanda, but decided against it. DC

The view over the Collio hills and vineyards is spectacular, and the place feels warm and welcoming despite its clean, elegant, rustic-modern style. The cuisine is refined, the wine selection is excellent, and the staff are friendly and professional. A relaxing spot for dinner with friends or events of all kinds. This recently opened winery and restaurant is on Via Subida in Cormons, in the province of Gorizia. Recommended.

We stayed for two nights and felt right at home. Andrea, the owner, is incredibly friendly and knows his wine. He showed us around the cellar and vineyard and explained each step of making his wines. Excellent winery and excellent wines. Keep up the good work.
