The hazelnut lunch was a treat, with sweet and savory dishes that all brought hazelnuts into the meal. We came as a group just for the tour of Cascina Barroero's farm, and learned a lot about how hazelnuts are produced and what makes them special in the area. It's a decent drive to get there, but well worth it for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend a visit for something fun and different in Piemonte.

The food was varied and interesting, and it showed how many things you can make with hazelnuts, though I wasn't fully convinced by the quality. I appreciated that the ingredients were local, and the neighbor's wine was actually great. The tour at Cascina Barroero was a real highlight for me, with great explanations, smells, history and context. It's a small local business run with a lot of heart and commitment, and I'd highly recommend supporting them with a tour and lunch. Getting there in a van is a bit adventurous, but totally doable.

The price was really good for what you get: a personal tour of the farm, then a mouthwatering lunch of about five hazelnut dishes that Isabella whipped up quickly, with local wine to enjoy alongside. The family were so friendly and accommodating, and they also had delicious products for sale. Amazing experience, highly recommend 👌🏼

Hosts were attentive and friendly, and the lunch was creative and high quality. This genuine Piemonte hazelnut farm is out of the way, but you can stay overnight or come for a tour of the farm and facilities followed by a tasty hazelnut-based lunch. The tour is comprehensive and very educational. Worth making the half-day trip.

We booked a tour with lunch and had a great experience. It was really interesting to learn more, and to try so many different courses featuring hazelnuts. The place is absolutely lovely, and so is the family who run it. 👍
