My mom and I spent two nights at Hotel Villa Gaia in Cortina in September. They upgraded us to a room with separate spaces, so we could each have some privacy. The place is beautiful, with stunning views, easy parking, and a quiet, peaceful feel. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

It’s a little outside Cortina, but everyone was very kind and the room was clean. Breakfast was great, with several homemade cakes. The little tart with cream is worth a mention. I was only there for one night, but I’d come back for another short stay.

Too short a stay, but the food, rooms, views, and staff were all excellent. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so it makes for a nice evening walk.

We were a family of four in a family room, and everything was excellent. The location gave us the quiet we wanted, away from the busy center, while still being close enough to walk, about 10 minutes from Cortina’s center. Our room had a gorgeous view, was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to Cortina.

We’ve stayed at three hotels in Cortina before, and Villa Gaia is the best. Our family of four spent 14 nights there in March 2025, and we’d definitely return. Monica and her family run the place so well and are lovely, always ready to help. The charming rooms are well kept, parking is available, and it’s an easy walk to the center of Cortina. The view from our room was breathtaking, and breakfast was very good too.
