That bright dining room has an incredible view and a slightly Alice in wonderland feel, and the setting was outstanding. My husband and I had lunch here in October. We chose à la carte because I wanted the vegetarian dishes, even though I'm not vegetarian; the tasting menu had to be the same for everyone at the table. My dishes felt too rich and were just okay, while my husband's courses were lovely. The coffee pici pasta and wild boar tortelli especially stood out. It was a wonderful meal in an idyllic place. If we returned, though, we'd pick the non-vegetarian options.

We still miss our honeymoon stay here. The views were beautiful, and the breakfast was the best you could imagine. The wine and olive oil were amazing too, a real Italian country experience.

The beauty of the place is reason enough to stay. We spent five nights here for our daughter's wedding, and it felt magical. The rooms were great, the service too, and the food was naturally excellent at their Michelin starred restaurant. Drinks on the patio are a must, especially with Daniella, the best bartender in Italy. Giada handled the wedding planning and is sure to surpass even a demanding bride's expectations. We also had a memorable evening at their rustic, traditional sister restaurant, Locanda Il Molino. There was grape stomping and dancing, really, and it's among the most memorable nights I've had on my trips to Italy. Anna Maria and Stefano made sure everyone had a wonderful time. Spend the money, it's worth every penny.

The wine made on the property really impressed us. It was delicious and high quality, yet reasonably priced both to buy and taste. We also enjoyed the restaurant, where the portions were bigger than expected. This hotel is a lovely blend of rustic authenticity and modern comforts. Its spread-out layout means you can find a little spot for peace and relaxation wherever your room is. The staff clearly care about their work, and their warmth and enthusiasm came through as soon as we arrived. It's in an unbeatable location and deserves all five stars. I hope to come back.

The setting is gorgeous, the staff are friendly, and breakfast is exceptional. But this place is very remote and very expensive. Everything cost a fortune, including yoga: two of us paid 130 euro. The restaurant is acclaimed, but we thought the six-course meal was over the top. The rooms are nice, though not great, and the pool and spa are fine. There were lots of mosquitos, so bring bug spray. It's lovely, but be prepared to leave with an empty wallet.
