I went in after spotting a fun sweatshirt in the window, and the attentive sales associate made the visit feel like a personal styling session. She set up a fitting room based on the first item I liked, then offered styling tips as I tried everything on. I came away with three great pieces I'll treasure for years.

The customer service was awful, and I wouldn't spend money there. There are plenty of other shops in this beautiful city. I went to look at a bag after another customer had finished, but a rude woman in glasses rushed over, took it from my hands, gave me a look, and said I had to ask permission. I'd gone in intending to buy that bag, but needless to say, I didn't.

I picked up slacks and some jewelry, and I love both. The service was great, and there are two connected stores you can move between. One focuses on gorgeous silk skirts and suits; the other has more fashionable casual pieces and jewelry. It works differently from shopping in the US: this is full service, so they prefer you not handle the silk or leather yourself, in case your hands aren't clean. The women are happy to help, and once they feel comfortable, they'll let you browse on your own.
