Relais Villa Alma

The slow evenings at Villa Alma were lovely: dinner at an easy pace, a glass of wine, and the deep quiet of the hills. Mornings meant coffee on the terrace as the light moved across the valley, while afternoons were for local trails or heading down to the lively lakeside towns. The views, pine scent, winding country roads, and open space brought to mind a little of home in Ireland, along with the gentle warmth of northern Italy. This 300-year-old villa above Lake Garda has a real sense of place. Its preserved stone walls and handcrafted details make it feel grounded and carefully cared for, with the forest all around. It has comfort and luxury without making a show of it. Villa Alma feels like someone's treasured home, generously opened to guests who appreciate what a special place it is. I've travelled extensively, and this was one of the most thoughtful, grounding, and quietly luxurious stays I've had. Coming from Ireland, where natural beauty and history are part of everyday life, I had high expectations, and the villa went beyond anything I imagined. If you're hoping to get away from the noise and reconnect with nature, yourself, and a slower rhythm, it's simply perfect. This will be part of our annual holiday from now on. We'll be back, without question.

We had breakfast outside, and it was delicious, perfect and relaxed. The villa is very beautiful, with a lovely pool and garden, and peaceful surroundings. Self check-in was easy. I can't recommend it enough!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. The staff were very nice, and it felt like good value for the money. We had a great experience and nothing but good things to say. I'm sure we'll come back.

A quiet spot with lovely grounds, a garden, and a pool. Definitely good value.
