We stayed in the second week of October and got a good deal, £1700 with Jet2 holidays. Garda is a 30-minute walk away. There’s a shuttle, but it only runs at 9:30 and 11:30 in the morning, then 2:30 and 5:30 in the afternoon. If you stay in town for the evening, getting back means a long uphill walk or a 20-euro taxi. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the service was attentive. Staff kindly accommodated our request to switch from a room with a shower to one with a bath. Rooms have a kettle and teabags, and most have a lake view. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including pastries, cereal, meats, cheeses, fruit, and eggs cooked to order. They even had prosecco for anyone wanting an early drink. The fruit juice was the letdown, as it tasted very artificial. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive.

We loved the included breakfast, and ate at the restaurant twice. It was pricey, but the food was good enough to make it worthwhile. The hotel was lovely and clean, with kind, attentive staff. The only small downside for me was the heated pool still felt quite cold. I could only use it on the warmest day, when it was 26 degrees c.

The spa was phenomenal, and housekeeping were especially sweet and thoughtful. Staff throughout the hotel were kind, attentive, and accommodating. We enjoyed breakfast every day and had dinner there during our stay, and every meal was excellent. The location is beautiful, with stunning views from the panoramic pool and wonderful service at the poolside bar. Hotel Madrigale was amazing. I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing, everything about our stay felt perfect.

The rooms were comfortable, seamlessly clean, and the hotel has great food and exceptionally friendly staff. We appreciated the age 14+ policy, which made it easier to relax in a quieter atmosphere. Lake Garda has a great view from here, and it’s only a few minutes’ drive away. The major towns are easy to reach.

A car of your own would make it easier to get around and explore more. The staff were very helpful, and both the food and breakfast were very good. It’s a beautiful resort.
