The building has an interesting history as a former Verga family residence. The last descendant has restored it beautifully and now runs it, setting aside part of the property for guests.

This place is worth a visit for its distinctive atmosphere, which you just don't get in a purely commercial place.

Cotronei's oldest building is also its most beautiful, and history seems to fill every corner.
