I went there for the restaurant, though I’d definitely consider staying at the hotel next time. The food matched the setting: elegant and delicious. I especially enjoyed the local cheeses, potato leek soup, porcini mushroom risotto, sliced beef, and homemade tiramisu. There’s something magical about the place, like walking into a fairy tale or a museum. The decor and atmosphere feel mystical, and the staff were very helpful in showing me how to get downstairs to the restaurant. I really enjoyed dining there.

After a full week at Auberge de la Maison, I honestly didn’t want to leave. My room was spacious, really comfortable, and had all the modern amenities I’d expect from a high-end stay. The bed was insanely cozy, and the sleek bathroom had a rain shower and top-notch bath products. The staff made the stay unforgettable by taking care of every detail, always friendly and professional, and ready to go the extra mile. The hotel feels warm and inviting, with wooden interiors and thoughtful touches that give it a classic, contemporary style and just the right rustic charm. Breakfast was a dream, with fresh pastries, local cheeses and meats, and coffee. The bar was another highlight, with great cocktails and delicious quick bites in an intimate, cozy setting. It’s a stylish, modern alpine retreat that still feels welcoming. I can’t wait to go back!

They made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The hotel and its grounds are beautiful, and the hospitality couldn’t have been better. Amazing stay, with nothing more we could have asked for.

We asked for a room with a Mont Blanc view when booking, but were told one wasn’t available, so we didn’t expect it. Then at check-in, they surprised us by assigning us a room with that view. It was a perfect start and great customer service from the beginning. The breakfast was plentiful and high quality, and all the hotel staff were wonderful and very friendly. The front desk manager was especially helpful and arranged the surprise room assignment. This was one of our best resort experiences in the Alps, and we’d definitely return if we come back to Courmayeur.
