The staff are what make this place a 10 out of 10. They made a real effort to welcome us, and Rashida, Marco, and Zoran quickly became friends during our February ski trip. They helped us find our way around Dolonne and Courmayeur, and the hotel is lovely, super clean, comfortable, and has just the Alpine lodge feel you want. It also has a sauna for after hiking, biking, or skiing, and all the amenities you could hope for at a truly affordable price. Breakfast is delectable, with local cheeses, breads, and yogurts from the town, plus an always-hot espresso machine and a chef on site making incredible breakfast and dinner selections. The hotel parlor fireplace is a perfect spot for afternoon tea while looking across the valley toward Courmayeur. For skiing, you couldn’t be better placed: the Dolonne cable car is a quick walk down the hill, and there are lockers to store your equipment right where it picks you up. Five out of five all the way around. I’d recommend it to anyone!

A cozy hotel in a great location, with an incredibly welcoming and friendly team. The food was great too, and don’t skip the breakfast crepes. I really appreciated the staff’s hospitality.

The hotel is less than 1 km on foot from the bus terminal, in a peaceful spot on the other side of town. We visited during “low season,” when leaves were changing color and the weather alternated between rain and clouds. It suited us perfectly for exploring town without the crowds, though so few tourists were around that some shops didn’t open in the afternoon. We’re amateur trail runners and still managed a fast hike up to the viewpoint to see majestic Mont Blunc. The hotel service was top notch. A special shout-out to our lovely restaurant manager “Marco,” who looked after us and chatted as if we were best friends. Highly recommended when you’re in Courmayeur.

CARE is the word I’d use. They pay attention to the little details, and the staff are polite and smiling. That makes a difference to the trip!
