Amici Miei Rooms

The rooms are spacious and nice, and the location is central.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, with bars and restaurants easy to reach. It's a short walk to the main square, 15 minutes on foot to the football stadium, and 15 minutes from the train station. Wish Bar around the corner has an excellent selection of quality beer, but sadly there weren't many customers when we were there, so it lacked much atmosphere. The only bar we could find showing football was the Caffe in Piazza. We bumped into Jamie Vardy there!

The price felt fair for a festival weekend, and I’d stay here again if I came back to Cremona. My room was clean and comfortable, though warmer than I’d have liked, and the private bathroom across the hall was spotless and very spacious. Self check-in worked well, but the reminders about the tourist tax felt a little persistent. A dedicated drop box might make that easier. There’s also a large shared living room downstairs, but no shared kitchen. It seems like the space could work well for offering a simple breakfast.

The location is a real plus: Amici Miei Rooms is quiet, welcoming, and just a few steps from the center of Cremona. The rooms were warm and tidy, the ensuite bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of closet and drawer space. I’d happily come back, and I’d recommend the place. I did miss having a personal connection with the manager. We only spoke through WhatsApp messages about how to enter, so I can’t say whether they’re friendly or accommodating in person. The messages were kind, but for me that human contact matters in a place like this. As a small suggestion, breakfast might be nicer with some jam and fruit juice alongside the tea bags and two packets of dry biscuits like Ora Saiwa. An extra roll of toilet paper would also be useful. Those are just my opinions and don’t change my rating. If I get the chance, I’d love to stay again. With love 👍🏻🙋🏻‍♂️
