I can’t recommend this place. Mara's mother had a horrible attitude toward customers and their belongings, and she didn’t provide useful information.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was spotless, comfortable, and had the essentials, including towels and soap. The air conditioning worked well, and the location was convenient, about a 1.5-kilometer walk from the historic center. There was easy street parking, though it wasn’t part of the property. After the host realized she’d overreacted, she changed her attitude and offered to lend me her household iron, since there wasn’t one for guests. We were attending a wedding, so having an iron can be important. The welcome, though, was shocking. My husband and I had come from Rome for a friend’s wedding, and the trip took seven hours. We arrived later than the directions sent to the WhatsApp contact suggested, but we’d kept LAPO, the welcoming lady’s nephew, updated for hours about highway construction, accidents, our stops, and our delay, including when we were within 15 kilometers. At the door, the lady started yelling before I’d finished climbing the last step, saying they’d been waiting over an hour and a half, even though she lived there. She also shouted, “ONLY ITALIANS DO THESE THINGS!!!” in the elevator landing, then complained about our dachshunds and questioned whether we’d told them. We had mentioned them by text months earlier. We later found out LAPO hadn’t passed along any of our delay updates to her. Breakfast was another disappointment. We look for breakfast included when we stay somewhere, but for two nights they left a coffee machine with pods, two chocolate tarts, two packets of wafers, and a half-liter bottle of water. We had to go find breakfast both mornings. I also couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to connect with the password, which was written in hard-to-read handwriting, even after asking GPT CHAT to interpret it. The town itself was beautiful, clean, and well-kept. I’d rate the stay a 5 out of 10, good but not great, and there’s room to improve. The welcome says a lot about you.
