Top.
After driving 1,200 km, we arrived to find the campsite still partly closed, with construction and debris all around. We had booked for the first two days of July back in January, but no one had warned us about the situation. They showed us the bungalow, where there were cobwebs and mold, and we were left with the sink taps, which a plumber had only just fixed. The bar and restaurant were shut, and the owner was hanging freshly washed blankets in the reception area. She said they'd had a problem and couldn't find technicians or staff, but guests should have been told in advance. We left, because I couldn't have my five-year-old walking around wooden boards and nails at a campsite that looked like a construction site. They kept our deposit of a few hundred euros and didn't even offer to refund it. Thankfully, we hadn't paid the full amount. This ruined our vacation, and it was a truly awful experience.
The restaurant was good, and the receptionist was professional and very pleasant. There are nice shaded pitches beneath the pine trees. Hot showers cost €1 per token for three minutes, and you can pause the water. The children's play area is outdated, and loud music continued until 12:30 am.
The toilets were modern and clean, and this family-run campsite beneath the pine trees was pleasant. Our caravan felt cramped, though, so privacy was hard to come by. We happened to be there for a karaoke night, which went on until 12:30 am and was tough on our ears.
