The Wi-Fi, mobile data, and phone signal didn’t work at all. Our room was number 8, and we had booked seven nights but ended up leaving. Despite the photos and videos on Booking.com, the hotel maintained that it was in the right. Booking.com sided with them and refunded us, so it felt like a complete waste of money. The room was at street level, something not mentioned on booking. Its window looked straight into the room, so we had to keep the curtain shut all the time. The iron door made it hot, and instead of a window there was just a grate that couldn’t be closed. We could hear everything outside, and people outside could hear us. There was also a wall peeling from damp. I told the owner about the grate and asked if we could change rooms. She said the upper-floor rooms were for three or four people and were occupied; she’d have to speak with her husband when he got home about the other two double rooms, one like ours and one without a window. She said the grate was for ventilation, though she agreed there was damp on the wall. We’d like to choose for ourselves when to open or close it. We arrived at 1:00 PM, although we’d been told we could check in from noon, and the room still needed cleaning. It happens, so we waited until 2:00 PM. I wish I could upload the photos. There’s something called karma. Have a good life.

The owners were friendly, kind, and helpful, and our room was clean, tidy, and well kept, furnishings included. We stayed for two nights and had a great time. We also ate at their restaurant, "La Cucina del Brigante," where the local dishes were delicious. Highly recommend it! Best regards, Alessandro and family

We only stayed one night, but the lovely place, generous breakfast, and Domenico’s kindness and hospitality made us wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and well looked after, and dinner at their trattoria was delicious, with very reasonable prices. We’ll definitely come back...

My partner and I were very happy with our stay at the Ci Thorno Hotel during the last week of July. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished, very clean, and had every comfort. The owners were lovely and kind, and clearly wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also ate very well at their restaurant, just a few meters from the hotel. In my opinion, the prices at both the hotel and restaurant were more than fair. I’d repeat the experience as soon as I can. 👍

The room was large and clean, but breakfast was poor. The owner had called in the morning and asked us to arrive by a certain time because of a village festival. The evening before, we told him traffic would make us a little late. When we got there, he was busy cooking at the restaurant and couldn’t welcome us or show us to our rooms. He greeted us with unpleasant remarks, and the man who had accompanied us to the rooms had already left. We waited over half an hour before anyone showed us where to go.
