Agriturismo la Mandragola Relais

The food is classic Crotone cooking, prepared carefully with good ingredients, and we had a really lovely time. The set menu starts with a traditional appetizer made from seasonal local produce, then offers five first courses to choose from and a choice of second course. We tried the maccheroncini with tomato and sausage, paccheri with zucchini, bacon, and zucchini flowers, homemade sausage, and pork steak with red pepper and fennel, all excellent. The appetizer spread included tripe, zucchini fritters, Genoese-style meatballs, fried provola, peppers with olives, and breadcrumbs. The restaurant sits among olive trees and is beautifully kept, on a par with a Tuscan farmhouse apart from the scenery. Thanks to the owners for being so attentive and helpful. We’ll definitely be back, and recommend it.

Kids can play safely while parents sit back, eat well, and chat. The staff are cheerful and welcoming, and the chef serves excellent food with genuine flavors and an original twist. It’s green and completely peaceful here. Highly recommended...

Spring, or maybe September to October, seems like the best time to take in the colors and scents of the estate. We spent two nights at Agriturismo La Mandragola and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and quiet among the greenery, and even during that particularly hot August, the air conditioning made it easy to enjoy two peaceful days. Domenico, the owner, was always helpful and available.

We tried the restaurant too, and it was spectacular, with superb ingredients, traditional cooking, and friendly, attentive staff who were happy to satisfy our food cravings. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, with a retro look that suits the place. It’s quiet and calm despite being convenient for the Ionian coast and only a ten-minute drive from Crotone. The property is charming and cared for down to the smallest details. We hope to come back soon.
