The staff were so caring, and the food was delicious for the price. We chose the menu de degustazione on our second visit, and it was just as great as we expected. Thanks for having us, we'd happily come back anytime.

Prices felt fair for the quality, and I found that consistent when I visited again the other day. The products are top quality, selected by the family who runs the place, and the wines and other drinks are just as good. It's the very best restaurant, close to porto ceresio and worth the trip from lugano or nearby. Service is impeccable too.

At Molino del Torchio, the setting, care, attention, and all the other details come together with the food to make for a pleasurable experience. Food has many dimensions, and this restaurant deserves all five stars I gave it. The cheese fondu appetizer is something I can really recommend, subtle even for a cheese fondu. I had the gnocchi with wild boar Ragu primo and lamb secondo. I was too full for dessert, though that would've been nice too.
