Charming Palace Corte Del Teatro

Our first-floor, two-bedroom apartment was much more spacious than we expected for Venice and had a great view. It was well equipped, and the welcome drinks were a lovely touch. The owner was kind and helpful, and the location was excellent, just a short walk from San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

It took us quite a search to find Charming Palace Court delTeatro, and we loved our stay. Our room had a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom with a canal-view balcony, and a living room and kitchen facing a courtyard. The beds were as hard as rocks, and the building creaked a bit, but we didn't hear any street noise. The location felt perfect, right along a main route through the city, yet just a block away it was completely quiet. Most major attractions were a 15-25 minute walk in any direction. The room itself was great, and the hotel has several apartment-style options. Check-in service was good, though it's a "person less" hotel without staff actively on site. There was cleaning service each day, which was a plus.

We were very happy in apartment 2 and would love to come back. It was spacious, spotless, peaceful, and had excellent air conditioning, with everything we needed. Maurizio had left water and wine for us, a thoughtful touch. From the little bedroom balcony, we could watch gondolas pass on the canal. The host communicated and looked after us really well, and the central location made it easy to walk to restaurants and many sights.

The large terrace, comfortable bed, and good location were the best parts, and the host welcomed us with tasty wine and bottles of water. Still, the top-floor apartment and its equipment felt a bit worn, the kitchen didn't seem fresh, and the walls were somewhat dirty. Getting to the bedroom meant climbing a tall ladder, which felt risky if you needed to come down at night.
