The best part for us was Veronika Kestner, the enthusiastic local guide who works at the hotel. She suggested great activities she had tried herself, including rafting and canyoning, and we were truly impressed. Breakfast was another highlight, with Veronika happy to tailor it to what you like, sweet or savory. The hotel has just been refurbished and the interiors are nice, though that matters less than the people and advice. A great place for a holiday or a business trip.

Cristina, the owner, was always warm, smiling, and ready with useful tips to make our long August weekend even better. The Garní Vecchio Comune has a refined but welcoming feel, and it’s well placed for visiting nearby sights. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with fresh local ingredients. For half-board, they work with a nearby restaurant where there’s a good range of excellent dishes, generous servings, and friendly staff. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone after a welcoming place, good food, and a handy base for exploring.

September is a beautiful time in Val di Non, and we had such a relaxing stay that we’ll definitely come back. Christina was exceptionally kind and happy to help with any question. The restaurant next door was fantastic too, highly recommended.

The owner was courteous and friendly, and our room was spacious. There’s a shared room for breakfast, and the location makes it easy to get to several tourist spots. Excellent place.

The area is well kept and clean, and the woman running the Garni was very friendly. It’s between Molveno and Cles, near Lake Tovel. Breakfast was generous, with sweet and savory choices available if you ask. I highly recommend this Garni.
