It felt like home for the few days we were there, and the whole group loved the place. I especially liked the garden and the views from the shared balcony. The hotel has a lot of charm, and check-in was straightforward. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I’ll come back next time I visit Venice. ❤️

The rooms were clean, and the patio has a lovely feel. The people looking after the place were really nice. The room decor could use a little updating, but we had a lovely stay overall. The night shift receptionist was especially helpful and waited for us patiently.

The location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk from Arsenal stop. Around the hotel are pretty cobbled streets, very few tourists, and some nice restaurants. The rooms were clean and well kept, with fresh towels and a friendly welcome. It isn’t flashy, but that’s in line with the price. Thanks to the hotel team for our short stay in July 2024.

Loved it! It was winter, probably the off-season for Venice tourism, and I paid €30 a night, or €35 for just one night. My single room had a bed, sink, small cabinet, table, and chair. There wasn’t a private bathroom or shower, which was fine because the shared ones on the floor were very clean. The lounge was nice too, with a balcony overlooking a canal. Highly recommend!

I never actually stayed here because of a communication problem with the host. I got COVID and was really unwell, so I needed to move my stay earlier. I contacted him in the morning through Booking and by phone, but he didn’t reply until after midday. By then, because of my health, I’d already booked somewhere else. Other places I stayed at replied quickly and were caring. He didn’t seem to care. He wasn’t a good host. There are nice hotels in Venice at reasonable prices, so it comes down to what you choose.
