Dinner was the standout for us: a five-course meal with antipasta and a salad buffet, with new choices each night. I especially liked the vitello tonnato. The chefs clearly put care into the food, and the main dishes, whether local meat, fish, or vegetarian, were all five-star quality. Breakfast was good too, with plenty of cold options and fresh eggs. We stayed four nights with our baby. This was one of the few kid-friendly spa hotels we could find, and it worked really well. The staff were friendly and professional, took time to chat with our baby, and looked after us throughout. Check-in was quick since we’d filled in the form in advance, and we got our keys right away along with a welcome drink. Our room was huge, with a large balcony and seats, a modern bathroom, and a baby travel bed. The lake view was wonderful, and we thought paying extra for a room facing the lake was worth it. The spa has a family section and a separate adults-only zone. We mostly used the children’s area, or took turns so one of us could be with the baby while the other used the adult saunas and steam room. Those saunas look out over the lake. There’s also a small heated outdoor pool, and we ordered drinks from the bar on our phones a few times while enjoying the nice weather. There’s plenty to do nearby, including hiking, biking, skiing, and lake activities. With a small baby, we mainly walked around the lake and town, stopping for coffee and meals at local restaurants. One thing that would have helped is some warm food between breakfast and dinner. Lunch is available from 1-2, but we often missed that slot while out and then got hungry in the mid-afternoon. A small soup and bread option, or something else the chefs could prepare ahead, would be a nice addition.

The food was really good, and dinner is absolutely worth having here. The spa has loads of saunas, with both clothing-optional and swimsuit areas, and the views across the lake to the mountains are great. You get that view from the rooms, restaurant, spa, and pool too. The rooms feel modern but cozy, with wood, light interiors, nice furniture, and a good view. The staff made the place feel like home. We liked all the little details.

I’ve stayed at the Seehotel several times over the past six years, and the recent renovation was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are comfortable and have modern amenities. There’s a good selection of meals and snacks, so I haven’t needed to eat elsewhere. Breakfast stands out as one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel this size. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and my room was quiet despite the hotel being on the main road in the town center. Parking right outside is plentiful, and there’s an elevator. The WiFi had no signal or quality problems, and hot water was available around the clock. The tap water is drinkable and actually tastes very good. Looking forward to my next visit.

An amazing family has made this the best place on earth. I recommend it to everyone.

The included breakfast and dinner were really good, and the stay also covers wellness, an indoor swimming pool, and a training room. The hotel has a great view over Reschenlake. Rooms have plenty of space and each one has its own couch, though I found the beds a little hard.
