The swimming pool is lovely, set in the middle of a beautiful park. The old villa itself has a lot of charm, but the apartment we stayed in felt a bit too basic and could use some improvement. The bathroom was the bigger problem, especially the shower. It was built into a recess and was completely inadequate for anyone over 175 cm tall @!!@

We wanted somewhere quiet inland, but still within easy reach of beaches and local sights, and Villa De Pietro worked out beautifully for a couple of days in September. Roberto and Marta welcomed us so warmly that we felt like part of their family. With its garden and outdoor pool, the villa feels like a peaceful little oasis. It was a lovely place to relax at the start and end of each day. Thank you so much!

The apartment we stayed in had a strong musty smell, which was the one downside. I think that may be typical of the space because it used to be a granary, but guests should be told about it. Otherwise, everything was perfect. This B&B is in a beautiful, prestigious villa, with welcoming staff who were very helpful. It's about 20 minutes from Otranto and half an hour from Lecce, and breakfast was varied and excellent.

The historic villa and its pool were fantastic. The pool was always clean and in great shape, and breakfast featured excellent artisanal products. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer our questions. A unique experience I'd recommend trying.

Breakfast was generous, with homemade jams and cakes, plus exceptional figs. The owners were friendly and ready to help with any request. The rooms are quite simple, in keeping with the villa's style, while the villa itself is an imposing 17th-century building in a huge private park, with an enchanting portico.
