We were 11 adults and 3 children, and had an amazing time. Clementina, her family, and the crew were perfect hosts and made our stay wonderful. The spacious room was clean, breakfast had lots of choice, and the service was lovely. On a hot sunny day, the big pool was great. Supermarkets were just a 10-minute drive away. A perfect family getaway, and we'll definitely go back.

We spent 8 days here as a family of four, and the fantastic pool was a great place to relax after days at the wonderful Salento beaches. The rooms and shared areas were extremely clean, and breakfast had a great selection of sweet and savory food. The location is well placed, away from the August crowds but only a 20-minute drive from all the best beaches on both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. There are also plenty of old villages nearby, nice to visit in the evening for an aperitif or a typical Salento-style dinner. Clementina and Luigi were friendly and helpful hosts. Thanks to them and Tenuta Castelle for a fantastic holiday in Salento. Highly recommended.

The hardest part was leaving after just five days. We came from London with our children, aged 5 and 8, and after a lot of searching found a place that was even more beautiful in person than the photos and description suggested. Our days were wonderfully quiet. The pool was spotless, the swallows kept us company, and the only noise was nature. My younger daughter learned to swim there for the first time. I went for a jog each day among the olive trees around the large building, and the rooms gave us plenty of space and privacy. They were cleaned thoroughly every day. The internet worked perfectly, and both the room and pool showers always had hot water. Breakfast had lots of choice and included local treats like figs, pasticciotti, and Mrs. Clementina's cakes. Mrs. Clementina and Mr. Luigi were so kind and talented, and made us feel welcome while still giving us our peace and privacy. We hope to come back for longer. It was our most wonderful vacation.
