Hotel Bonotto

We had a great view of the city, lake and mountains from our top-floor room at Hotel Bonotto. The hotel sits conveniently by the lake, city centre, boat rental, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, with a view over the lake and Desenzano, and our room was always clean and well serviced. The staff were kind and helpful, and the owner was friendly and ready to help us have a comfortable, pleasant stay. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable visit, and the atmosphere works well for couples, families or business trips. I can’t recommend Hotel Bonotto enough to anyone planning a visit to Desenzano!

We stayed for a couple of nights in March and were very pleased. The breakfast choice was amazing, and the view from the dining area was lovely. The staff were really nice and helpful, and we were upgraded to a lake-view room. It was a little small, but suited us. The room and bathroom were clean. There were no mugs for coffee or tea, but you could ask reception for some. It was due to covid regulations, so I guess that’s reasonable. The location was great, close to most bus stops, which was handy since we often used public transportation. I recommend staying for the breakfast and view alone. Thank you!

The sun roof has loungers and a beautiful view across the lake and surrounding area. We also appreciated how helpful the hotel staff were when they helped us deal with our broken car. The hotel is an intimate, wonderful place right in the center of Desanzano, on the main street, yet our room was peaceful and quiet. It was spacious enough for us and our two children, and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was varied and very tasty, and a lovely lady made us excellent coffee each morning. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

We’ll come back to Hotel Bonotto. Everyone was so pleasant, and the service was wonderful. It’s close to both the beach and town, and our balcony room, though not very big, was absolutely clean and nice.
