The rooms themselves were spacious and nice, but several things let the stay down. The bathroom smelled like poo, its windows wouldn’t open, and the shower temperature kept changing. Room windows did little to block either noise or temperature. Breakfast was underwhelming, and the service person was slow and unfriendly. The elevators are small.

The bed was big and very comfy, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. The owner, I think, was kind and accommodating at check-in and breakfast. We stayed for two nights through a third party. Without a car, Milan’s sights are a bit far, about an hour by public transport. They don’t have a kettle in rooms with a toddler or baby, but they let us use the kitchen at night for boiling water. It was a nice stay, and I’d recommend it despite the lengthy trip into the city.

Desio is a very quiet, inactive town, but staying at Selide hotel made things less stressful. The rooms were clean, warm and spacious. Breakfast was fine, though there were no eggs. Overall, it was okay.

I was here for a few days on a work trip. The staff are lovely people, and the rooms are cozy. Everything is clean and on time, including the bathroom, which is always clean and perfumed. The location is good too, with uncrowded streets and everything nearby, even though it isn’t a busy area.
