Hotel Guardacosta

I only stopped by the terrace for a few drinks. The hotel looks nice, but the bar didn't impress me. There were also lots of young children around, so it was pretty noisy.

The staff were lovely, and the food was good. I liked the place a lot, especially since it's close to the beach. Such a nice spot.

Gaetano, the maître d' and professional dancer, made our evenings of dancing memorable with his enthusiasm and charm. Francesco was very courteous when serving the main dishes and sides, and the ladies at the bar were always smiling and friendly. The owners and the rest of the staff were kind, welcoming, and available whenever we needed them. The resort in Cirella is in a perfect spot, just steps from a beautiful, clear sea. The food was mixed. We liked the well-seasoned first courses and the fresh, nicely made breakfast tarts. The vegetables seemed simply defrosted and boiled, with little care given to presentation or taste. The fish was always the same and rather bland. Each room was entitled to a deckchair, an umbrella, and a sun lounger, but we often saw loungers sitting empty and unused. Making them available more flexibly could have made the beach more comfortable for guests. Still, we had a pleasant holiday thanks especially to the lovely location and friendly staff. Some things could be improved in the food and beach service. Thanks to everyone who made the vacation so enjoyable and memorable. We'll always cherish it.
