From the dining room and delicious food to the room, everything was excellent during my short holiday here. Hospitality and kindness really stand out. Thanks to Lorena and Silvano, also from my furry friends, who were made welcome too. See you soon!

My partner and I had a great stay from December 29th to January 2nd, 2026, for New Year's Eve and the start of the new year. The cuisine was especially good, excellent and high quality.

Everything was small, but clean and well maintained, and the location was excellent. It's a shame that my dad and I got food poisoning at dinner on September 11, 2022. I'm young, and that night I only had cold sweats and vomiting. Late the next morning, on the 12th, my dad fainted after we got home. It caused kidney failure and ruined the last years of his life. We'd eaten a strawberry parfait that hadn't been thawed properly, though foolishly we ate it anyway. I'd recommend sticking to desserts that need cooking.

The people here made the stay. When our first room didn’t suit our needs, the owners and staff arranged another one and moved all our bags, clothes, and belongings for us. Federica was brilliant and professional in the restaurant, and Michele was kind and attentive. Francesca handles housekeeping, and chef Gian Marco was always happy to make something extra-menu for our four-year-old. We slept very well too, thanks to the supportive slatted base and ergonomic mattress with a memory foam topper. Albergo Tina sits right above the sea in Diano Marina, with traditional Ligurian food and a wine cellar that reflects owner Mr. Silvano’s passion. It’s one of Diano’s historic hotels, and that age shows in some of the rooms and shared spaces. The rooms could use better upkeep, and the property has plenty of potential. There’s a lot of decoration around the dining room and the corridors by the stairs and room entrances. Fewer ornaments, paintings, accessories, and artificial flowers would make those areas feel cleaner and leave more room for luggage. The table setup could be refreshed too, including the damask placemats and bottle coasters, and I’d remove the chair covers for a cleaner look. For a two-star hotel, the location, setting, and value are good. We came away positive. Hotel Tina could suit a weekend or holiday if you’re not expecting too much.
