The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace. The room was beautiful, clean, well furnished, and had a great view. Breakfast was buffet style with a decent selection, and tea and coffee were free. The location is fantastic, right across from the marina and close to everything. There’s a lovely restaurant in the hotel, plus a couple of good places to eat on either side. I’d definitely recommend staying here and will almost certainly return.

The food was superb, and the service was the best I’ve had in ages. I’m picky about restaurants because I’ve worked in hospitality for about 15 years. My partner, our baby, my parents, and I were looking for lunch and ended up at Vela Bianca. What a good choice. The place was clean and tidy, with just enough decoration to feel fresh and welcoming. We shared five starters and main dishes because everything looked tempting and we couldn’t decide. The grilled octopus was the best I’ve had in ages, and I’ve tried it in lots of restaurants because I love it. The seafood risotto was so good we wanted to lick the plate, and the trio of fish tartare was fresh and nicely presented. I could keep going about the food. We booked dinner on the terrace as well, with what was probably the best view in diano marina, so we could try the rest of the fish and seafood dishes. Dinner was just as good as lunch. Our waiter Gino was excellent and attentive to details. For the first time in Liguria, we didn’t have to ask for side plates to share our dishes. He also gave us good suggestions about a glass of wine and the menu. Prices were really good for what you get, especially considering everything that comes with the meal. Thanks to the whole team at Vela Bianca for the experience. I highly recommend stopping for a meal if you’re in Diano Marina.
