Villa Il Poggiolo was clean and had all the appliances we needed, and we had a lovely stay. The balcony was nice, with a beautiful view over Diano Marina. Stefano was friendly and helpful 😊.

The garden, pool, and jacuzzi were amazing, and the view was breathtaking. We had perfect weather, and the food, bakery, and olive oils were fabulous. The VIP Suite is a must. The owner was the perfect host. We’re sure we’ll be back.

We had a perfect holiday at Villa il Poggiolo. The garden and pool are fabulous, and the ViP Suite is spacious, modern and elegant. I especially loved the high-tech setup: a big wall screen with high-definition projection, surround sound, hi-fi music in every room, free Wi-Fi and two Apple computers. Absolutely recommended.

Mauro and Stefano looked after us well, always reachable by phone or text. Mauro even washed both our cars when he was washing his own. He also found us an apartment near Cinque Terre so my husband and I could spend a day and a half there. His tips on places to visit and eat were helpful too. We stayed in the VIP Suite for two weeks in July with five adults and three kids, and it worked out wonderfully. The layout was practical, there was plenty of storage, and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The bedroom without AC stayed cool enough. The kitchen had the appliances we needed, and the bathroom had a large tub and shower. The tech setup was a big hit with everyone. Wi-Fi handled movie downloads and Minecraft, while the TV, DVD player and satellite systems kept kids and adults entertained. Mauro also had DVDs in English. The pool and BBQ were great extras. If I could, I'd give Villa il Poggiolo seven stars. A great base for seeing Liguria.

The view and accommodations were perfect, and the host was great at communicating. We loved it here. I highly recommend having the personal chef, Patrizio, cook for you. Excellent experience, and we plan to return!
