The location worked perfectly for us, close to hiking, buses, cafes, supermarkets, a gelateria, and Hans pizzeria across the road, which is fantastic. The facilities are beautiful and up to date, and the staff were really kind and helpful. We just wish the sauna had been open all day, rather than only after 4. Also, the bathroom got wet because there was no shower screen or curtain.

The views are stunning, and the location is very good, with a great restaurant just across the street. But I wouldn’t go with a big group, since none of the services are allowed to be used by large groups. The receptionist was loud and aggressive, a real piece of work, as some people would call a “Karen.” Room quality varies. A select few are good, while the others are borderline acceptable. Some smell of mold, and others have water dripping. It might be worth it if you’re willing to pay for one of the high-quality rooms. Otherwise, it isn’t worth the money.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon, and the staff had drinks waiting to celebrate and upgraded our room. Everything in the room and the amenities was spotless, and the staff were very friendly. We used the pool and sauna every day. It’s close to all the buses we needed for hikes, and good restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Highly recommend it. It made our trip much better.

I accidentally booked this accommodation through booking.com, thinking it was in Bolzano. It cost about $850 AUD for five nights. I explained the mistake to the hotel and asked for a refund, since I couldn’t travel with my friends and would miss my flight to another country, with no transport options from Dobiacco. They ignored my messages and refused my request. I then asked for a partial refund, which was also ignored and refused. I didn’t get a single reply from anyone at the hotel. A terrible experience, and I lost $850 because of my mistake. Buyer beware.

The location gave me lovely mountain views on one side and good connections to the main attractions on the other. I was traveling alone with a pet, and had a very nice stay. My room was comfortable and clean, and the friendly staff were always ready to help. Breakfast had a great selection and was very enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I’ll gladly return.
