After long days of trekking, Nadia and Simon’s apartment was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the floor-to-ceiling windows looked out on a view so stunning I’d often sit and take it in. It felt like a living work of art. The hosts live just downstairs and look after the apartment themselves, so you can feel their warmth and care in every detail. It was the most welcoming, comfortable, and immaculately clean apartment I’ve ever stayed in. Staying there felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than booking a place to sleep. I really wish I could have stayed longer. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. If you’re looking for somewhere in Dobbiaco, I couldn’t recommend it more wholeheartedly.

We visited in winter, with about 50 cm of snow, and the location exceeded our expectations. In the hamlet of Dobbiaco, Santa Maria, the apartment looks out over the Pusteria Valley, with views of the Baranci mountain range and the Braies peaks. It’s right on the main road and easy to reach. Parking is reserved but uncovered. The entrance is shared with the owners, while the apartment itself is on the upper attic floor. The apartment is cutting edge, with sophisticated, environmentally friendly, thermally efficient features. There’s plenty of living space, a lovely terrace, and more than enough closet space. The living room has a kitchen and double dining table, plus there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. A must for our future vacations.

A quiet spot with a great south-facing view, and a beautiful, spacious apartment with lots of storage. The kitchen is very well equipped. A few regional books and some games round out what’s provided. The hosts are warm and friendly.

The apartment was very comfortable, with spectacular views. Since we arrived late and there was nothing for breakfast, I would have appreciated a welcome gift. Also, the terrace railing seemed too high to let us fully enjoy the view.
