The staff were incredibly nice, friendly and helpful, which was the best part. The location was perfect, the room was spacious and very clean, and parking was easy. Breakfast was decent, with a cold selection, and you can charge an ebike in a secure room. Thanks, Urthaler Hotel, for making our MTB holiday in the fantastic Dolomiten so memorable and wonderful.

We had dinner here last night and enjoyed the food in a lovely, traditional restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The welcome from the staff was warm, and there were several vegetarian options on the menu. We'll definitely be back.

The best thing about this hotel is its location right in the centre of Dobbiaco, near the bus station. The rest of the stay was disappointing. The hotel feels old-fashioned, and the staff spoke little English. There used to be a very snuffy, impolite elderly woman at reception. The food wasn't tasty, and breakfast and dinner had little choice. At half-board dinner, there was no English menu. There was no free tea or even hot water in the room, and no way to wash or iron clothes. The rooms and corridors smelled bad. Bathrooms were tiny, with very narrow shower cabins, and the view from our room wasn't great. The neighborhood was noisy, and the church bells were loud.
