The owners were very kind and helpful, and the apartment is spacious and well equipped. It sits in the heart of historic Dolceacqua, right on the parish church square. Inside there's a living room by the entrance, a well-equipped kitchen, a small but functional bathroom, and a bedroom overlooking the old square. We hope to return soon. Just be aware that the church bell tower is close to the bedroom window, and getting up the steep, narrow stairs is typical of apartments in old Ligurian villages.

It feels warm and comfortable, almost like a typical grandmother's house, and I really liked it for so many reasons. The owners are friendly, and the apartment is thoughtfully organized, furnished, and carefully maintained in the local style. The spotless cleanliness is the first thing you notice, right down to the gleaming furniture. There's plenty for breakfast too. Come on in, you can't go wrong!

We stayed here some time ago and had a great time. The place was beautiful and clean, and the owner was very kind and polite. The homemade jam was delicious and unique, I think the owners made it themselves. From our room window we had a lovely view of Dolceacqua's main square, part of the church, and the mountains.

The room looked stylish, but getting there was a struggle even with Google Maps, and the stairs are a lot if you're not very fit. One more thing to know about this area: the church right in front rings around the clock, including in the middle of the night. I woke up several times because of it.

Set inside the walls of a medieval village, with the castle looking down from the top, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. The atmosphere is beautiful, the place is spotless, and the owners are always on hand with ideas for lovely places to visit. A truly wonderful experience, and one I'd recommend to everyone.
