Casa Vacanze Riviera del Brenta

Paola and her husband were so kind to us. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We also liked having the pergola and armchair in the little relaxation area. The train station for Venice is a 6-minute drive away, and there's free parking. We had a lovely stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

The villa made a great quiet base while Venice was packed for Carnival. We were there February 6th to 8th with our daughters, aged 9 and 11, and stayed in Dolo at the Riviera del Brenta holiday home. It's a small villa for up to three families, though sharing the living room and kitchen probably works best if you know the other guests. Everything we needed was there, from sheets and towels to a hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, detergent, and dishwasher tablets, and breakfast was provided too. Our girls had a blast with the foosball table on the veranda. For the trips into Venice, we drove to Mestre on Saturday and took the bus, which cost €5 for parking and €12 for the bus. On Monday we took the train from Dolo, about €18 for tickets, and found that more convenient. Mrs. Paola was incredibly helpful and courteous throughout. Highly recommended!

The only awkward part was getting to the villa: there’s either a dirt road for a few hundred meters or a path alongside the canal. Once there, it’s a beautiful villa surrounded by nature, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. You can barbecue and eat outside in complete peace. The owner is attentive and available whenever guests need something. We had a great time and would come back.

Set among greenery but still handy for the village center, this place has plenty of parking and room for large families, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and an outdoor barbecue. Really, what else is there to say? Excellent.
