Albergo Adelia

The food was the highlight for me. I had the sliced beef with arugula and potatoes, and it was so good. My friends tried Adelia's strudel and said it's always a safe bet. The ingredients were very good and the prices fair. I forgot to take photos, unfortunately, and I probably wouldn't have found the place on my own if someone hadn't brought me there. The owner was lovely, friendly and good company, and he also runs the kitchen. The place is being renovated, but it already has a really warm atmosphere. The only small downside was the waitress not knowing what was available or what went into the dishes. Still, she was quick, attentive and capable, so it didn't take away from the experience.

The meat was cooked just right, and both the food and its presentation were excellent. The restaurant is in the old part of town, but don't let that put you off going.

The view from the window was amazing, especially in the sunshine, and the price was quite reasonable. The hotel is about 8 kilometers from Cortina. Our suite was tidy and clean, with comfortable, warm beds. We only stayed one day while visiting friends, but I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere in the area. The staff were VERY friendly, which I really appreciated.

The town is pretty quiet, almost dead. The older couple who run the place are friendly and attentive, and it's clean. Breakfast was okay. It's affordable, so don't expect too much. They only speak Italian.
