We spent 12 nights here with our girls, aged 2 and 4, and it worked perfectly for our family holiday in Domodossola. Everything was easy to reach on foot, from the train and bus station to restaurants, shops, the pharmacy, and Piazza Mercato. Both bedrooms were roomy and had air conditioning, which I consider a must. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals in, and the balconies looked out over breathtaking mountain scenery. The property itself was spacious and clean. Highly recommended!

The owners were especially kind and helpful with local information, maps, activity brochures, and dining suggestions that proved invaluable. The large balcony was a highlight, with lovely views across the Vigezzo and Antigorio Valleys, afternoon shade, and plenty of room to hang clothes. The rooms felt welcoming, were clean, and had modern touches. There was a lovely bathroom with a big modern shower and washing machine, plus a delightful kitchen and dining area stocked with all the equipment you could need. Breakfast items are provided by the owners if you ask, though you can manage without them. It feels a bit like a rental apartment, but it's well maintained and makes a great base in Ossola at any time of year. You can explore Domodossola on foot, with historic Piazza del Mercato about 5-10 minutes away, and get to Santuario del Monte Calvario in 25 minutes without using your car. Free parking is right beside the property. We thought it was perfect and will definitely return.
