4/10
The staff were nice, though we didn’t interact much, and the room was okay for the price given the options nearby. Still, I don’t understand the 9 out of 10 Booking rating. The property felt a bit abandoned, and the only two photos I took were of things that shocked me. Nothing else seemed worth remembering. The furniture was somewhat old, cleanliness could have been better, and breakfast was weak, mostly like discounted packaged supermarket food. That was especially disappointing in Italy, where food is usually so good.

We were a hiking group here for a week in mid-May, and the staff, starting with the owners, were gracious, friendly, and always ready with suggestions for Dorgali and the surrounding area. My room was roomy and comfortable, with great water pressure in the shower. The hotel packed generous lunches for our hikes, with fresh fruit, water, and juice. They were much appreciated on long days out. Dinner was excellent every night, beautifully presented and cooked to a gourmet standard. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, cheese, cakes, bread, eggs, croissants, cereal, and more, though I usually prefer something simpler. It’s a family-run place in a very convenient location, and I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay. The restaurant was good, and the service there was really professional. The staff throughout were amazing, and our room was clean and roomy with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

8/10
The pool was nice and open around the clock, and there’s a cheap supermarket nearby. It’s about a 20-minute drive to the nearest tourist hotspot. Our room was cool and clean, reception was friendly and informative, and housekeeping worked at an almost unreal speed. Breakfast is basic, but we had no problems here.
