A friend booked dinner for us, and we spent about three hours eating the typical Sardinian menu at an easy pace, with each part of the meal brought around and served. The food was among the purest, highest-quality farm-to-table food I’ve ever had. It was a whole experience: outstanding, unique, with super friendly service and a home-like feel.

Mario and his family were very friendly hosts. Dinner was amazing, and breakfast had a colorful spread of fruit, baked goods, yogurt, and more.

The food was extraordinary, with local dishes made from ingredients grown locally. I’ve never had a host so devoted, and this was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. It was a 10 out of 10 all around. I bought two bottles of wine and the host gave me one as a gift. Just extraordinary!

Dinner under the olive trees was the best part of our stay. We ordered à la carte rather than the set menu because I’m not a big meat eater. Mario took time at our table to explain the different meats and help us choose. We’d never eaten meat that good before, and we’re still thrilled about it. With music, red wine, dessert, and such a lovely setting, it was the perfect last evening of our Sardinia holiday. We also loved being in the middle of the vineyards beneath beautiful olive trees. The rooms were lovely, carefully furnished, air-conditioned, and had everything we needed. The pool was beautiful and very clean, there were tasty drinks by it, and we were served an excellent espresso when we arrived. We had the best time with Mario and his family and are so grateful. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully for longer next time. :)
