The bed setup was the last straw. There was no proper double sheet, just two singles, and the blanket had no sheet over it at all. After decades of staying in hotels, we’d never seen that. We didn’t want the blanket touching our skin, and the spare sheets we found in the closet were dusty and had hairs on them. When we raised it, the manager called us strange guests with strange requests. He looked for a double sheet but couldn’t find one. There were two other empty “suites,” though I suspect they had the same problem. We left and rented a room in Verona, even though it was 3 in the morning after a 6-hour drive. We’d prepaid and the manager refused any compensation, so we lost our money. The room itself was clean, but the place didn’t meet basic sanitary rules. The location faces a very noisy main road and is far from Verona’s historic centre.

Losing my flight left me needing somewhere at the very last minute, and booking the Giulia room that evening turned out to be a perfect save. The place was clean, the person I dealt with was really friendly, and the towels and sheets felt soft. So glad I found it. Grazie mille!

I arrived on a late flight and only needed somewhere nearby. The room was much cleaner and better decorated than I expected, and everything seemed well maintained. Do the online check-in beforehand to avoid delays.

For my two work-trip nights, this was an easy recommendation. The host was helpful and professional, the room was great, and the bed was very comfortable. There’s a spacious bathroom and private parking, and the location is excellent. Fully deserved five stars.

The location is perfect for seeing Verona, and the staff made the stay feel special. They were kind, efficient, ready for any request, and the place was clean and in order. checmi and the team gave us a really warm welcome. I’d happily suggest it to anyone. ❤️
