Hotel Dozza

Parking was good and the hotel was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite, a welcome change from the city types. They may be the nicest people we've dealt with in the past few days. No complaints, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms were clean, and breakfast was nice. But everything was closed when we arrived, and at 9pm there was nowhere to buy water or anything else to drink.

Awful.

The breakfast room was very cold in winter, so you end up eating in a jacket. The walls don't block much sound either, and you can hear the corridor. The rooms are simple but comfortable, warm in winter, cleaned daily, and the Wi-Fi works well. Staff were friendly, there's free parking, and breakfast has sweet, savory and gluten-free choices. The bar also serves good coffee and cappuccino. It's a three-star hotel in Toscanella, a few kilometers from the village of Dozza and close to a bus stop, with good connections to Bologna, the train station and the Castel Guelfo outlet mall. A good option for its category, especially if you're driving or exploring the surrounding area.
