Quinto tronco

Those winding Sardinian roads come with spectacular views, and the apartment was well worth the trip. It was presented beautifully and had everything I could ask for. Breakfast was included at the café on the corner, and it was exceptional.

I spent two weeks riding the Transardinia bike route, and this was one of my favorite stops, easily the best value. It's a quiet, clean, convenient base for a few days or however long you need in the area. Angelo and Giovanni are friendly and incredibly accommodating. Angelo speaks good English and takes time to explain what's available. He even showed me a basin for washing clothes, found WD-40 for my bike, and gave me and my bicycle a lift back up the mountain so I could rejoin my route. The experience was worth every bit of the price, and then some. The family-run B&B apartment is new and spotless, with air conditioning in both the bedroom and main living area. You can cook there, or ask them to order a pizza from Arzana, the town up the hill. Breakfast is served at Corrias' Bar right beside the apartment, where they also run the B&B. It's a small village spot where locals meet for a drink and a chat. There's a little pharmacy and post office across the street. Great people, and I didn't want to leave.

The included continental breakfast was high quality, and the service was friendly and efficient. The apartments are charming and brand new. Angelo was a wonderful host, and his English was exceptionally good.

Angelo and his family made the stay unforgettable. The rooms and bathroom were modern in design and really clean. Great place, and we'll definitely come back.
