Affittacamere Stazione Empoli

Empoli is such a lovely town, and this clean, well-equipped place was really convenient. It’s only a two-minute walk from the train station, with easy connections to Pisa and Florence. We were very happy with our stay.

Vanna really made the stay special. She messaged ahead to say she’d be there when we arrived and showed us to our room, even though we’d expected no one to greet us. For my wife’s birthday, she left wine and pastries in our room. I can’t say enough about how lovely she was, and how willing to help she seemed. Empoli worked beautifully as our base for Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Staying outside the main tourist spots can mean less expense and fewer crowds, without making the trip feel any less like a holiday. The hotel was warm and spotless, the bed was a pleasure to sleep in, and the keypad entry for both the building and rooms was very straightforward. The front door is easy to miss, but the directions were so good that it wasn’t a problem. The train station, shops and restaurants are all a short walk away. A truly great place to stay. We spent five nights here in April, and it made a perfect base for us. Ms Vanna was quick to respond and very helpful. The place had more space than we expected and was nicely equipped, including a kitchenette that worked efficiently. It’s right in the center, near the train station, bars, restaurants, pasticerias, decent supermarkets and laundromats.

I liked the apartment with the kitchenette. It’s roomier and nicer than the rooms, which are up stone steps on the first floor. I usually prefer somewhere with a reception, but Vanna communicated well and replied quickly. The scaffolding covering the building blocks the view and will be there for a long time. The shutters barely open halfway because of it. The Wi-Fi and A/C worked well.
