We stayed one night, and the property itself was inviting and comfortable. The owners are wonderful, the service was outstanding, the rooms were very clean, and the rates were very reasonable. The on-site gated parking made us feel much better after we walked down the street, felt unsafe, and came back. The location is the only reason for my 4-star overall score. I hope the municipality can get its act together and make the area around Anthea B&B feel safer. The owners have clearly put a lot of work into the property. Anthea B&B is the only reason I'd visit Ercolano again.

Martina and Dana were really helpful hosts. The room was clean and spacious, and we had breakfast on the terrace and an afternoon rest under the parasol. They even gave us a lift to the train station, which we needed because the pavements are shocking and the roads are constantly busy. It's a little oasis in a busy area. One thing to know: they don't take credit cards, so pay online in advance, as payment at the property is cash only.

The place was neat and cozy, really comfortable, and close to the beach and main area. The two women who own it were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was my one suggestion: I would have liked less sugary food. It seems Italians love sugar, but for me that can be a dealbreaker at breakfast. Still, this is a 5 stars place. Awesome stay!

The room was clean, quiet, and furnished in a modern style. The staff were very nice, helpful, and flexible. Breakfast was generic and prepackaged, and the dining room decor felt a bit dated.

Martina & Dana gave me a helpful introduction to Ercolano and the surrounding area when I arrived, and I took note of their recommendations. My room, Diana, was spacious, with a drawer, a rag with some hangers for clothes, and a backyard balcony with a little table and chairs. The basic kitchen is available to guests, including a microwave and gas cuisine. Breakfast was prepared the night before and ready each morning as soon as I got up. For more choices, I strongly recommend stopping at one of the several supermarkets in Ercolano before coming back from your day excursions, so you don't have to head out again. It's a quiet, neat, simple place that is really comfortable. For getting into Ercolano center, be aware Uber won't pick you up at their address, so walk a little to get picked up. The rental-by-minute company for electric bikes, motorbikes and scooters also requires you to leave the vehicle a few meters from the entrance. I found Ercolano Portici Station better for going and coming back than Ercolano Scavi. It's just a 15 min walk at a moderate pace. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! ¡¡¡Grazie tante Martina & Dana!!!
