The property is practically opposite the Herculaneum excavations, just steps away. It's charming and welcoming, with bright, discreet spaces. There are two apartments stacked one above the other, with stairs up to the first-floor unit. The ground-floor apartment sleeps four and has a small courtyard with Vietri-tiled walls and a little table. The upstairs one has two rooms and sleeps five. Both have kitchenettes.

The location near the Herculaneum ruins was good, and the place was clean with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a kitchenette with dishes and a refrigerator. It's really a two-room apartment, with a king-size bed in the living room and two single beds in the kitchenette. Breakfast was typically Italian, made with ingredients supplied by the owner. There was no Wi-Fi, the bathroom was tiny and inefficient, and the water was only lukewarm.
