The restaurant was really good, and the staff were lovely. We asked for an outdoor table to get some fresh air, and they sorted it in a minute. The place itself is quiet and great, though the approach includes 750 meters of gravel tracks with sharp turns going uphill or downhill. Our room, the one with red tiles, had a broken shower head. Breakfast was OK, but I didn't like all the plastic juice bottles when homemade juice could be an option. We missed the 12:00 to 13:00 arrival window and got a telling-off from the owner. After riding a big motorbike and arriving all sweaty, that didn't feel nice.

The food was really good when we came for a midweek dinner, and we ordered starters and pasta. The wait was the problem: about an hour for the starters, then another hour for the pasta. It's a nice place to check out, though not a must.

We had a wonderful time, and both the coffee and dinner were amazing. I'll definitely come back. If you're after a quiet place with a nice view and don't need a luxury room, this is the right spot.

Paolo, the owner, is top notch, and the staff are great. There's a superb location and a wide range of food and wine.

Go, especially if you're visiting the Frasassi Caves, which aren't far away. The farmhouse sits in gorgeous scenery and is carefully kept inside and out. There are ponies, dogs, sheep, lambs, rabbits, and peacocks outside, all looking perfectly happy. Every dish, from the starters through to the coffee, was delicious and made with ingredients they produce. The waiter and waitress were attentive and professional, but still made us feel among friends. The welcome was lovely, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality and taste.
