The setting is high enough that even during a very hot spell we didn't suffer from the heat wave. We could leave the windows open at night and hear the cicadas, though the rooms also have air conditioning. The pool was a lovely place to unwind between outings, and the panoramic terrace had a bench that was perfect for looking at the stars. The mountain views and that relaxing dolce vita feel were spectacular. It's also a great base for seeing Marche and Umbria, with Fabriano, Grotte di Frassasi, Genga, Monte Cucco, Sassoferrato, Spoleto, Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, Perugia, and even Monte Conero and its Adriatic beaches within a 30-60 minute drive. The hotel itself is cozy, charming, and well maintained, and you can tell the owners put their hearts into it. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean, breakfast good, and the restaurant serves very good typical food from the Marche region. We had a great time there.

I can't recommend staying here enough. The mountain scenery from the rooms is lovely, the breakfast was amazing, and the lamb at the restaurant was amazing too. The staff were amazing and helped me so much. I couldn't speak a word of Italian and only spoke English, but they spoke English as well.

The pine forest and surrounding scenery made for a very peaceful, evocative setting. I was there for a high school lunch organized by the final-year students, and it was lovely to have spent the past four years with them. I'll miss them, though they're off to university now. The service was excellent. They hadn't known I was allergic to eggs and dairy, but the chef still made two great appetizers for me.

The mountain and little village views are incredible, and the food was delicious. Inside and out, the interior is incredibly cozy and pleasing to look at. The staff are caring. This is a wonderful hotel and a place worth visiting to find some peace of mind.

A lovely place in the mountains with excellent homemade pasta. The service was kind and very pleasant. Highly recommended if you're traveling in the area.
